ive got a problem. there is a thing that i really couldnt understand.

WHY WHEN SOMETHING HAPPENS, MOST PEOPLE JUST STAND AROUND AND SEE-SEE-LOOK-LOOK ? INSTEAD OF PROVIDING HELP TO THE VICTIMS.

i was waiting for a bus and apparently an accident happened before i was there. couldnt see much but i could tell that it was some motocyclist who was injured. there are more than 20 people standing and watching as if it was a real life movie that lacked audience. PEOPLE JUST STAND THERE ! only 2! 2 kind and brave soul was providing aid to the wounded. the rest? WATCH LOR.

then, it comes the other incident the next day. saw this little girl crying very loudly and screaming like nobody's business. the assumption made was that she lost her way and her mom couldnt be found. i dare to say that there were 30-40 people crowding around. only one or two tried to console her. after that the people realise that nothing could be done, left and called the MRT personel instead. while the helpful people left, what the rest do? WATCH LOR.

you might think that

'OH. GOT OTHER SOMEONE THERE ALREADY WHAT'

so? another helping hand will kill huh? extra help will be fatal is it?

'AIYA, THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO TO HELP WHAT'

wah, as if your pressence can cure the person or solve the problem. the person is feeling bad enough, why crowd around and see show? THE PERSON WILL FEEL WORSE YOU KNOW?

'YOU SEE THE INCIDENTS ALSO WHAT, WHY DIDNT YOU HELP?'

for the motocyclist case, i helped by not standing around like another fucking moron and continued my normal routine. did not actually kay poh around but i went to observed the behaviours of people there.

for the girl's case, i really couldnt stand watching her cry while the people were away, i tried to step forth to help. however, as i got closer, the person came back with the mrt personel. so i took a step back and walked away. it might seemed like an excuse but at least i did not just WATCH. i tried to help right?
